South Vermillion School Corp.

     The South Vermillion School Corporation has completed numerous projects under the performance contracting legislation in the State of Indiana.     Sycamore Engineering is proud to have been a part of those projects.     Central Elementary School was the first of these project with a new heating and air conditioning system being install in the building during the summer of 1999.     The new system was operational in less than 3 months.    Two additional elementary schools in the system were air conditioned - when they did not before have air conditioning- and again the projects were completed in the summer of 2000.     The large high school - South Vermillion High School - revamped the HVAC system in the summer of 2001.

     All of these projects are based on the fact that savings can occur by providing new and better ways of heating and air conditioning school buildings. 

     The projects also included complete lighting retrofits which was done under the contract by the Sycamore Engineering Electrical Department.
